Purpose

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to use four high-frequency irregular present-tense verbs in real plans and requests.

Lesson Explanation

ir: vou, vai, vamos, vão. ter: tenho, tem, temos, têm. The accent in têm distinguishes plural “they have” from singular tem.

fazer becomes faço in the first person; poder becomes posso. These verbs are worth memorising as full useful forms, not as isolated exceptions.
