Purpose
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to conjugate regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs in the present tense.
Lesson Explanation
Regular infinitives end in -ar, -er, -ir. With falar, the forms are falo, fala, falamos, falam. With comer: como, come, comemos, comem.
Abrir gives abro, abre, abrimos, abrem. Brazilian Portuguese normally uses você and vocês, so learn those forms early.
Subject pronouns may be omitted when the verb or context is clear, but use them when contrast is useful: Eu trabalho, mas ela estuda.
